**Position**: Content Fact Checker

**Working Hours**: Monday to Friday, 8AM-5PM EST

**Salary Range ** : 1000-2000 USD

**About the job**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Review and verify the validity of information contained in investment content, cross referencing this content with financial statements, decks, publicly available data, and other supporting materials to ensure our content matches these backup materials.
- Conduct any necessary external research to validate information and identify any discrepancies or inaccuracies.
- Ensure all forms of backup for our content are housed in our respective document storage systems for ease of reference.
- Fact-check the black and white statements but also ensure language and tone used in content is objective and not misleading.
- Work with the Compliance/Legal team to ensure that all research reports meet regulatory requirements and are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Escalate and flag any pieces of content that may not meet compliance and regulatory requirements to the Research team.
- Suggest changes to pieces of content so that they can become compliant with regulatory requirements to ensure high quality deliverables.
- Opportunity to advance into additional content writing responsibilities

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience working in the same or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Ability to operate in an Eastern Time zone
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - proficiency in written English
- Strong reading and writing skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality and accuracy

**Nice to haves**:

- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to investment research, such as FINRA rules and SEC regulations
- Experience working with financial databases

**Salary**: Up to $8,360,000 per month
