- Seasonal (May 14, 2023-August 5, 2023)/**GENERAL FUNCTION**:
The media team's main function is taking pictures, videos, and creating content for Camp and camper parents. The media team will upload daily pictures of resident campers to our camp Flickr account and creating weekly highlight video for all of camp that will be shared with campers, parents, and staff. The media team is constantly present around cmap and the campers, so they are expected to serve as a friend, mentor, and role model for all campers.

The Media Team does not live in a cabin with resident campers, but is expected to start their day with morning Oli with the rest of summer staff at 7:30am throughout the week. The Media Team is expected to provide hands - on support for resident camp counselors and cabins from 6:30pm - 9:15pm during Evening Le’ale’a, showers, and reflections for campers, unless working on Media responsibilities. Lastly, it is also expected that they would be willing to move in with resident camp campers or assist camp in any way if we were to be short-staffed for any reason.

**KNOW-HOW**:
The Media Assistant must have a thorough understanding of the YMCA’s mission and goals, and a desire to work with children between the ages of 7 and 17. Leadership skills, enthusiasm, patience, a sense of humor and self-control are all essential.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- One year of college education preferred
- Experience working with children
- CPR/AED and First Aid required
- TB test required
- Ability to be physically active all day
- Photography/Videography experience preferred
