We are a financial technology company revolutionizing the world of cross-border payments. Our product is specifically designed for overseas freelancers, contractors and independent workers with U.S. business clients. We understand that having an easy payment method can bring more opportunities for international workers with a global mindset to create new job opportunities. We charge a flat monthly fee for customers' US-receiving bank account that doesn’t fluctuate with the number of transactions made - allowing our customers to keep more of their money.

We are a fully remote team with members working across various countries, all coming together to create an amazing product to support international companies and professionals.

**About the Back End Developer Role**

What You’ll Do:

- Design, build and maintain highly resilient, flexible and scalable architecture by collaborating closely with PM
- Ensure team makes solid technical decisions and team output is high quality
- Review code to ensure technical implementation meets functional requirements
- Develop, test, document and release full-stack, end-to-end features
- Participate in sprint planning and getting work done in two-week sprints
- Participate in code reviews as well as post-deployment site monitoring
- Research and evaluate new technologies that may improve our processes or code bases
- Passionate about solving hard problems using data-driven solutions
- Understanding of algorithms, data structures and software design

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience as a professional Software Engineer with Python (Javascript, TypeScript experience is a plus)
- You have experience working as a part of a team with Product, Project Managers, stakeholders, Q/A, and other Engineers
- You are always learning new things and are excited to dive into new projects and new technologies
- You make a habit of documenting your code and learnings
- Proficient speaking and writing in English
