**Indirects Buyer**

This role will be part of the Enterprise Business Solutions (EBS) in the procurement pillar. The EBS organization provides best-in-class, cost-effective financial, compliance, procurement, and enablement solutions to our Operating Companies around the world.

This position is based in Bogotá, Colombia.

**What You Will Do?**

The Indirects Buyer, is responsible for:

- Support the development and execution of category practices for selected categories corresponding to Indirects Categories, including support of sourcing strategy definition, sourcing project execution and stakeholder alignment
- With strong category focus the Sourcing analyst drives and supports the execution of the sourcing projects and is the point of interaction between the Category Managers and the procurement operations team and supply chain.
- Key Responsibilities

**Align with stakeholders**
- Supports the Category Managers with the identification of stakeholders, the initiation of the strategy development as well as execution of sourcing projects, assuring that their input is considered in the bidding process.
- Actively engages with stakeholders as defined in alignment with the Category Managers throughout the strategy development and sourcing execution process.
- Prepares the stage gate documentation

**Supports sourcing**
- Supports the Category Managers in the analysis and definition of the category spend baseline and category profile, incl. risk assessment and SRM strategy
- Supports development of Go-To-Market and negotiation strategies in alignment with the Category Managers and ensures proper documentation
- Provides support during the supplier screening and supplier selection process
- Performs sourcing management, performs Category Manager activities for projects with limited complexity
- Executes end-to-end sourcing projects for categories assigned:

- Participates in internal and external analysis (industry & supplier) in collaboration with Category Managers
- Performs supplier selection and fact-based negotiations, validated by the Category Manager
- Involves the business for actions related to supplier base optimization, KPI implementation and follow up, etc.
- Conducts spend map analysis to monitor spend and ensure that all purchases follow the purchasing process
- Continuously tracks forecasted vs. actual savings according to the Value Tracking Process for category in scope - defines corrective/optimization actions if needed and follows up on them (escalate to Category Manager, if needed)
- Interfaces between the Procurement organization and the product development, planning and supply teams in the region in alignment with the Category Manager’s projects
- Provides insights on Procurement analytics and data to support the operations.
- Keeps track of the main KPIs such as Savings, cycle time, payment terms, Backlog among others.

**Qualifications**:
**What We Are Looking For?**
- Required Qualifications:

- Academic background: Appropriate University/bachelor degree qualification is essential. A recognized qualification in procurement would be considered an asset
- Language Capabilities: Fluent Spanish and intermediate English is required.
- Experience**: 3 years’ professional experience** in the same functional domain or other related positions, preferably knowledge of category at hand and working in an international environment; good experience with supplier selection, negotiation and contracting area is necessary.
