Building Consultant

We are a small fast-growing quantity surveying company headquartered in Calgary Canada with a team of around 20 people. We are looking to hire a full-time employee/ manager, working from home with the following requirements.
- Fluent in English speaking and writing
- Ability to read and comprehend technical construction documents and create a summary for management review including construction drawings, bill of quantities, and technical specifications.
- Minimum 4 years of Quantity Surveying and construction industry knowledge.
- Ability to research and propose solutions.
- Strong report writing/ technical writing/ professional writing in MS Word with a focus on the flow of language and grammar.
- Strong excel skills with knowledge of formulas, tables, and analysis.
- Strong internet connection.
- Access to cell phone and laptop independently.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Knowledge in building valuation and cost estimation is desired.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bogotá, Cundinamarca: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Civil engineer: 4 years (required)
