Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Logistics Coordinator specializing in Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) **shipments to join our team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing LTL shipping operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods for our clients. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen understanding of logistics processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- ** Manage LTL Shipping Clients**:

- Act as the primary point of contact for our LTL shipping customers.
- ** Quoting LTL Shipments**:

- Analyze shipment details and customer requirements to provide accurate LTL shipping quotes.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to determine pricing and service options.
- ** Shipment Coordination**:

- Utilize Transportation Management System (TMS) to build and coordinate LTL shipments.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with shipping regulations.
- ** Carrier Coordination**:

- Communicate with LTL carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Negotiate rates and service terms with carriers to optimize shipping efficiency.
- ** Tracking and Tracing**:

- Monitor LTL shipments throughout the transportation process.
- Proactively address any issues or delays and provide timely updates to clients.

- Proven experience in logistics coordination, specifically with LTL shipments.
- Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and shipping software.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for interacting with clients and carriers.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills to resolve shipping issues effectively.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet shipping deadlines.
