Senior Automation QA Engineer

**Skills and experience you can bring to this role**
- Qualifications & experience_:
- Experience in API or UI test automation using Java/ Python and JavaScript/ Typescript respectively.
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver or Cypress, Page Object / Page Element, XPath, CSS Selectors;
- Knowledge of test automation patterns (Page Object / Page Element / Singleton / TDD / BDD);
- At least one performance tool (JMeter/Tsung/Gatling or other);
- Ability to create/execute performance tests, using JMeter/Tsung/Gatling and to create a simple performance report;
- Setting Up and maintaining CI infrastructure for automation tests;
- Experience with Postman or other API Management Tools;
- Ability to create/support new tests using existing pages, components, and methods
- Experience working with GIT and understanding the concept;
- Understanding of databases and DB design;
- Knowledge of SQL;
- Understanding of client-server architecture;
- Understanding of data exchange formats;
- Experience in setting up automation from scratch;
- Upper-intermediate level of spoken and written English.
**What impact you’ll make**
As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the quality of web and mobile products. Day-to-day work would imply:
- Setting up test and QA procedures on a project, driving the product quality on a daily basis;
- Build and support automation tools for stable and efficient automation execution;
- Research up-to-date automation techniques and tools;
- Report automation team status on a regular basis, plan sprint scope;
- Driving exploratory testing, authoring test plans and test cases for the product;
- Product requirements analysis and processing;
- Gathering QA/test metrics and reporting to QA Leads and the client;
- Being a part of the agile delivery team, working closely with development/design/product management to coordinate the effort;
- Taking part in continuous process improvement, giving process recommendations;
- Close client communication on a regular basis.
