**Organization Description**

La Isla Network (LIN) is an international NGO comprised of an international, interdisciplinary team of researchers, public health practitioners and professionals working at the intersection of climate change and occupational health. Composed of leaders in the fields of occupational and environmental epidemiology and medicine, occupational safety and health, sports physiology, nephrology, economics, anthropology, and communication, together with members of affected communities we work to protect workers in a changing climate. Together we are generating, supporting, and executing evidence-driven solutions to address occupational heat stress and to end the fatal chronic kidney disease of non-traditional origin (CKDnt) epidemic by understanding the scale and impact of the disease and its causes. In the process, we are improving work conditions and supporting creating and enforcing policies required to protect those affected using data-driven recommendations.

**Responsibilities**

Work with the team to write copy for
- Funding proposals
- Fundraising
- Newsletters
- Social media posts
- Presentations
- Press releases
- Translations

**Work scope**
- Coordinate with CEO and designer to publish and manage social media posts, newsletters, press releases, and general documents.
- Write captions for articles, photos, and videos and schedule posts across channels.
- Work with the communications team to develop the content strategy to drive communications and engagement and donation objectives and fundraising campaigns.
- Generate responses in a timely and effective manner to all requirements that are presented through digital channels.
- Carry out activities and strategies to improve the positioning, reach and growth of followers in social networks.
- Comply with the planning of publications and content.
- Proofread and copy-edit content across channels.
- Collect data and present reports using tools such as Hootsuite to determine adjustments to the communications plan and facilitate follow-up on publications and guidelines.
- Work with the team to structure fundraising campaigns.

**Qualifications**:

- Bilingual (English and Spanish) or professionally proficient both spoken and written.
- At least 2 years experience preferably in advertising, NGO, medical, academic, PR or journalism.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.

**Position type and compensation**:

- 35 ~ 40 hours per week
- Salary from $1000 to depending on experience

**Salary**: From $4,500,000 per month
