**Azure DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer**

**Contract, 100% REMOTE**
- In this role, you will leverage your DevOps expertise to design, automate, and streamline the software development lifecycle while playing a crucial role in maintaining website uptime. This role requires a strong ability to handle emergencies, troubleshoot website outages, and effectively collaborate with the team to restore functionality promptly._

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer role, or similar position.
- Proficiency in Azure cloud technologies
- Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.)
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or Datadog.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
- Understanding of security best practices and network security concepts.
- Good command of the English language is necessary

**Nice-to-Haves**:

- Familiarity with serverless architectures and serverless computing platforms.
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and tools.
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation.
- Certification in cloud technologies
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)**: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring faster and more reliable delivery of software updates.
- **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)**: Manage infrastructure configuration and provisioning through code, using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to automate infrastructure deployment and management.
- **Incident Response**: Respond promptly to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
- **Collaboration and Communication**: Foster collaboration between development and operations teams, promoting a culture of shared responsibility and accountability for software delivery and operations.
- **Security and Compliance**: Implement security best practices and compliance standards across the development and operations lifecycle, ensuring the security and integrity of systems and data.
- **Toolchain Integration**: Integrate and configure a variety of tools and technologies across the software development lifecycle, including version control, issue tracking, testing, and deployment tools.
- **Automation**: Automate repetitive tasks and manual processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors, leveraging scripting languages and automation frameworks.
- **Reliability Engineering**: Design and implement systems and processes to enhance system reliability, resilience, and fault tolerance.
- **Capacity Planning**: Analyze system usage trends and forecast future resource requirements to ensure adequate capacity for current and future needs.
- **Disaster Recovery**: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or disasters.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Continuously evaluate and improve DevOps and SRE practices, processes, and tools, incorporating feedback and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

- Willingly participate in resolving urgent issues, collaborating with the team to restore website functionality promptly.

Pay: From $97,737 per hour
