**About the Unit**:
At this moment we are looking for a Process Engineer.

**Responsibilities**:

- Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with Yara occupational health and process safety standards.
- Monitor and evaluate the main process variables in the production plants through con-trol and analysis of the process parameters guarantying the plants operation fulfilling with the integrity operating windows.
- Evaluate process performance per main systems and critical equipment to identify pro-cess trends and threats that could affect reliability of the plants.
- Provide technical support and work closely with the maintenance and reliability staff to identify and develop equipment reliability improvements.
- Develop tools and standard operating procedures to improve the process performance and reliability of the plants.
- Able to generate troubleshooting per critical system and process problems to identify root cause, then provide recommendations and implement preventive measures to im-prove process safety, performance, and reliability of the plants.
- Implement process and equipment upgrades for continuous improvement efforts and to support new business initiatives.
- Trains operators, technicians, engineers on the use of the process tools to improve the process performance and reliability.
- Lead and conduct reliability investigations focus in the improvement of the process per-formance using tools like RCAs, Pareto Analysis, 5 why, etc
- Development and review of engineering documents, process data sheets, Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
- Develop or support safe design risk analysis such as What-if, Hazop, Hazip and LOPA.
- Support other Yara production sites in case being required

**Profile**:

- Bachelors in chemical engineering
- Experience in chemical manufacturing plants of minimum 5 years
- Effective communications skills
- Ability to interact on teams that include operators, technicians, engineers and man-agement staff
- Willingness to learn
- Demonstrated computer skills, including process simulation in Hysys and Aspen plus
- Understanding of chemical process controls
- Design and sizing of process equipment
- Demonstrated reliability and process performance improvement cases as desirable
- Fluent English is required
