WHAT YOU HAVE
- BS/MS in computer science, engineering, or information technology, or equivalent work experience
- Strong understanding of appsec technologies such as WAF, API gateways, SAST, DAST, and SCA
- Experience conducting code reviews, threat modeling, and/or ethical hacking
- Understanding of approaches for securing SaaS apps (such as Salesforce, Oracle, eCommerce, etc.)
- Experience in web technologies such as HTML, PHP, Javascript, and/or Drupal
- Proficiency in software development technology such as Github, Terraform and/or Java
- Ability to work within an Agile/Scrum framework and to manage work in Jira
- Ability to identify and remediate OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities
- Familiarity with automation and comfortable creating scripting needed to automate security checks and remediation
- Proficient in DevOps technologies: CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, AWS/GCP, Linux, etc
- Security certifications: CISSP, Cloud Security, secure coding and/or offensive certifications
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum and DevSecOps methodologies
- Strong understanding of different vulnerability classes (OWASP top 10) and their best mitigation strategies

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Deploy and manage appsec technologies such as WAF, API gateways, SAST, DAST, SCA, etc
- Perform design reviews, attack vector identification, threat modeling activities
- Implement and automate security capabilities within the build pipelines using policy as code and CI/CD technologies
- Develop code to integrate and automate security checks and remediations
- Work with developers to tune appsec tooling to minimize false positives
