About
Parts of this role will require supporting across ByteDance, as well as TikTok. ByteDance is TikTok's parent company, whose mission is to inspire creativity and enrich life.
About the team
The HR Operations team at TikTok helps ensure strong quality, experience, and process for the Lifecycle Operations function. We support the employee lifecycle journey from hiring to separation, including onboarding, job status changes, timekeeping, data and reporting, and offboarding. This is contract position staffed through Adecco.
Responsibilities
**Onboarding and Offboarding**: Facilitate the smooth onboarding and offboarding processes for employees in both Colombia and Mexico, ensuring compliance with company policies and Columbia and Mexico regulations.
**Time Off and Leave Management**: Manage and administer time off requests, including vacation, sick leave, and other absences. Ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
**Benefits Support**: Provide assistance and support to employees regarding benefits inquiries, enrollment, and changes. Collaborate with external benefits providers to resolve issues and ensure timely and accurate administration.
**HR Compliance**: Stay updated on labor laws and regulations in Colombia and Mexico to ensure HR practices and policies align with legal requirements.
**Data Management**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
**Collaboration**: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, payroll, and other departments, to ensure seamless HR operations.

**Qualifications**:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in HR operations, with a focus on onboarding, offboarding, time off, payroll experience and benefits support.
Strong understanding of Colombian and Mexican labor laws and regulations.
Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a start-up environment
Experience in other HR related functions (employee relations)
