- Seasonal (May 14, 2023-August 5, 2023)/**GENERAL FUNCTION**:

- The Bus Driver serves as the camp's main driver. A Bus Driver completes various tasks including pick-ups and drop-offs at the beginning and end of each week, driving to specialty camps throughout the week, and being the go to person for any transportation involving campers or staff that may arise. The bus driver must be 21 years old and have held a valid driver’s license for 3 years.

The Driver does not live in a cabin with resident campers, but is expected to start their day with morning Oli with the rest of summer staff at 7:30am throughout the week. The Driver is expected to provide hands - on support for resident camp counselors and cabins from 6:30pm - 9:15pm during Evening Le’ale’a, showers, and reflections for campers, unless working on Media responsibilities. Lastly, it is also expected that they would be willing to move in with resident camp campers or assist camp in any way if we were to be short-staffed for any reason.

**KNOW-HOW**:
The Camp Support Staff must have a thorough understanding of the YMCA’s mission and goals, and a desire to work with children between the ages of 7 and 17. The ability to use critical thinking to develop plans and solutions is essential for this role.

**GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 21 or older
- Current Driver License with at least 3 years of driving experience
- Experience working with children
- CPR/AED and First Aid required
- TB test required
- Drug test required random after the first test
- Clear drivers history (Copy of record)
- Pass the YMCA bus certification class, DOT class, and physical test
- Ability to be physically active all day
