**Primary Purpose of the Position**:
Lead and manage Environmental, Occupational Safety and Health area with the goal of "zero accidents and Zero Environmental Not compliance" and the fulfillment of the company objectives and all applicable laws.
Develop and implement Environmental, Health and Safety strategies to support the objectives of the LA region.
Full compliance in environmental, health and safety matter according Goodyear policies and local law.

**Principle Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Implement the strategies established in Environmental, Health and Safety processes to achieve objectives
- Compliance with applicable Environmental, Health and Safety local laws, with the appropriate documentation and certifications.
- Support Plant Optimization; Lead PEC pillar and support subcommittees
- Maintenance of ISO 14001 & 45001 certification and any other audit/certification requirement about safety, health and environmental.
- Coordination with the regional and global EHS Committees
- Facilitate the necessary tools to develop Environmental, Health and Safety activities
- Manage environmental, health and safety annual training
- Ensure EHS culture in plant and administrative areas
- Responsible for the Environmental, Safety and Health Management System (SGI). Supports: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IATF16949

**Education**:
Required:
Graduate degree in Engineering (Industrial, Chemistry, Mechanic, Electric, Safety and Hygiene) Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IATF16949
Desired:
Postgraduate studies on Safety and Hygiene or MBA
Knowledge in Environmental, Health & Safety local regulations

**Experience**:
Required:
A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in safety, industrial hygiene processes and/or environmental.
A minimum of 3 year of experience in industrial processes.

Desired:
Experience working in plants with labor unions

**Knowledge**:
Required:
Leadership, teamwork, excellent relationship, effective communicator, and ability on effective presentations. Technical knowledge of engineering and mechanical principles, OSHAS, etc.

Certification as Auditor of management systems on Safety and Environment
