We are looking for a Merchandising Analyst in Colombia. This position will be responsible for the end-to-end promotions portfolio for all Rappi verticals in the country. While it is the role of other teams, like marketing, to bring users into the app, it will be the responsibility of this person to make sure the user sees the right message, in the right place, at the right time - generating conversion by placing an order and bringing revenue.

This role will be graded on the capacity to plan, design and execute with excellence the calendar strategy among all stakeholders in the country, as well as to contribute to the overall merchandising team goals.

Como parte de Rappi, serás responsable de:
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with Merchandising Data Analytics to transform customer insights into inspiring merchandising initiatives through knowledge of business goals and local country/cities demands.- Proactively work 360º views in the organization (vertical, ads, legal, finance, and marketing channels) to understand their needs and combine efforts to ensure adequate campaign coverage and support.- Effectively own and manage the portfolio of merchandising inventory to ensure every promotion meets customer needs and expectations and key Merchandising objectives.- Partner with vertical supply teams to obtain attractive and compelling deals, as well as reason to believe (sell sheet materials).- Join forces with the Merchandising In-store team to align on deals selection for every campaign.- Collaborate with Merchandising Product to (a) identify and share new trends which could result in tests recommendations for future merch initiatives, (b) address regional product opportunities for improvements or bugs, and (c) merchandising personalization.- Coordinate implementation of Merchandising tests running in Brazil- Monitoring and reporting campaign performance to drive an agile response to change demands and to optimize Merchandising activities.- Drive benchmarking of digital merchandising activities and capabilities vs competitors on a regular basis.

What we need from this person on a daily basis:
Ownership: Every banner, every carousel, and every announcement in the app is your responsibility.

Obsess over performance: Should be looking at the merchandising dashboard in the morning and take action by the afternoon if performance is lower than expected.

Relentless coordination: Every team is aligned with strategic goals and the amount of impressions and conversions to expect for their area of the business.

Be locally relevant: Should tailor our marketing and product to meet “local” needs, transforming customer insights into inspiring merchandising messages and initiatives.

Commercial and quantitative: Can put on a merchant hat to discuss how much volume we need to drive a restaurant at risk of churn, and can put on a data scientist hat to run complex A/B tests.

Address tactical feedback: This person needs to be prepared to have screenshots of the app sent to them regularly. They need to prioritize and then action that feedback quickly if needed.

Benchmark merchandising: This person should closely monitor our competitors and industries to benchmark activities and capabilities.
