**Responsibilities**:

- Designing algorithms and flowcharts to create new software programs and systems.
- Producing efficient and elegant code based on requirements.
- Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software.
- Analyze with the development team the technical issues and requirements they encounter and propose the appropriate technical solutions
- As directed by the VP of IT, implement the required technical solutions, following agree upon coding and implementation standards
- Document any development and system change
- Ensure that any changes, enhancement and development is implemented so that it can be properly maintained and included into future system upgrades

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ experience in C#.Net, ASP.Net, MVC using C# and MS SQL Server.
- Experience with Microsoft development tools (Visual Studio).
- Crystal Report / Designer.
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and ecommerce & website development.
- SOAP XML web services and REST APIs, such as ASP.NET Web Services, WCF Web Services and ASP.NET Web API.
- Development environment with multiple SW developers and parallel dev streams.
- Strong knowledge of design patterns
- Knowledge of source control (BitBucket), release management, unit testing and security focused development practices.
- Experience with the latest development paradigms regarding performance, security, and coding best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently as well as within a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
