Key Responsibilities:
Case Management: Organize and manage files related to personal injury cases, including maintaining detailed records of legal documents, evidence, and correspondence.

Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research to support cases. This includes researching legal precedents, laws, judicial decisions, legal articles, and other materials relevant to case preparation.

Document Preparation: Draft legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, subpoenas, and other court-related documents under the supervision of an attorney.

Client Interaction: Act as a liaison between the attorney and clients. This involves regular communication with clients to keep them informed about the status of their case and gathering information pertinent to their case.

Discovery Management: Assist in the discovery process by organizing, reviewing, and summarizing medical records, employment records, and other relevant documents.

Trial Preparation: Help in preparing for trial by organizing exhibits, preparing trial binders, and coordinating witness testimony.

Administrative Duties: Perform routine clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and managing correspondence related to cases.

Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Associate's degree or certificate in paralegal studies; bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: Prior experience in a personal injury law firm or legal setting is highly beneficial.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in legal research tools and software (like Westlaw or LexisNexis), and familiarity with case management software.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction and document preparation.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Attention to Detail: High attention to detail for accurate and thorough preparation of legal documents and case management.
