**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:
- Supervise the Billing Specialist team in Colombia; ensuring claims, denials, rejections and appeals are efficiently processed, and resolve billing related issues for the team.
- Supervise staff performance by providing regular feedback, performance reviews and one-on-one meetings.
- Maintains and/or identifies new required staff skills on an ongoing basis and provides required training, as well as facilitating all training for the team
- Plan and structure the department workflow and staffing.
- Become a super user in Carbon’s EHR, Billing Hub, Waystar and all payer portals.
- Meet weekly and, as needed, with Carbon’s RCM Manager in the US.
**ABOUT YOU**:
- Minimum 10 years of experience with US healthcare claims including, Commercial, HMO, Medicare, Medicaid, Government payers and Workman’s Comp insurance, in specific regions including the east and west regions.
- In depth knowledge of the payer's adjudication process of claims for primary care and urgent care services.
- Excellent English communication skills including speaking, reading and writing clearly and proficiently.
- Minimum 5 years of people management experience and ability to manage the daily activities of a team of billing specialists by setting goals, providing training, implementing guidelines and supporting employees. Consistently manage the team to productivity and quality expectations, with ability to manage out in a timely and efficient manner as needed.
- Ability to identify, analyze and create report trends for denied and rejected claims to Carbons RCM Manager in the US for further review.
- Possess strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects by urgency.
