Distritech is looking for a Category Buyer to join our team in our Medellin office. The Buyer leads purchasing activities in the consumer electronics. This critical role is responsible for buying, selling, managing the flow of products, negotiating contracts, and evaluating vendors.

**Responsibilities**:

- ** Optimum purchase**: Meet purchasing and sales goals in the category through effective negotiations.
- ** Manage inventory**: Ensure supplies are available to the business at all times. Maintain knowledge of what inventory is available. Review, analyze and anticipate what is needed by the customer and the company.
- ** Vendor searching**: Actively searches for new vendors with computer inventory available at a good price.
- ** Vendor forecast**:

- ** Pricing and market trends analysis**

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree is preferred with 3+ years of proven work experience
- Previous experience, managing the following categories: Laptops, tablets, gaming, TV's, streaming devices, smart home, digital imaging, wearables, fitness, small appliances, etc and negotiating bids and contracts.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and strong attention to detail
- Solid ability to meet all deadlines in an organized and timely manner
- Fluent english: B2
