We are looking for a Senior Go Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing the Backend migration plan to serve existing and future customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement a new Backend architecture
- Execute the Backend migration plan to serve existing and future customers
- Integrate media processing functionality (especially videos) into the new Backend
- Ensure the new Backend architecture aligns with business objectives and customer needs
- Collaborate with the team to continuously improve the Backend architecture and processes
- Engage with your mentor for continuous learning and development of technical and soft skills
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Golang development
- Strong proficiency in the Go language with a good understanding of its ecosystem
- Familiarity with SQL and Database
- Experience in Cloud API development and invocation
- Experience in media processing (especially videos) is preferred
- Experience in Google Cloud Platform services including but not limited to GKE, Anthos Service Mesh (or Istio), Cloud Tasks, Cloud PubSub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Cloud Workflows, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated individual with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with Upper-Intermediate level fluency (B2+)
