Oda Specialist

The Export-Import Bank of Korea (KEXIM) is a governmental organization established in 1976 with the primary objective of providing financial assistance to export-import companies in the Republic of Korea. Its main focus is to enhance the capabilities of these companies and facilitate the expansion of their market presence, particularly in the establishment of industrial infrastructure.

KEXIM's Bogota office is primarily responsible for Overseas Development Assistance (ODA) programming in Latin America and the Caribbean utilizing a governmental fund known as the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF). Through the EDCF, the office engages in projects aimed at fostering economic development and cooperation with partner countries.

**Job description**

The employee is responsible for developing the following functions:

- Supporting the office in analyzing and consolidating information needs related to EDCF operations in the Latin American region.
- Assisting members of KOREA EXIMBANK in their negotiations with government and private entities concerning the institution's operations.
- Monitoring the planning and implementation of Official Export Credit operations of KOREA EXIMBANK in the Latin American region.
- Providing research and reports on economic, social, and political conditions in the Latin American region.

**Requirements**:

- Education: A Bachelor's or advanced (preferred) level degree in development, international relations, economics, engineering, or other related fields.
- Languages: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish language are essential. Experience of studying or working in English-speaking countries is preferred.
