**Information Security Advisor**

**What You’ll Do**

You'll report to the Chief Security Officer. We are looking for a customer-obsessed, driven, and creative individual to work with our team.

**During a Typical Day, You’ll**
- Establish positive working relationships with the internal teams who are developing software.
- Track and monitor what the development teams are working on, what tools they are using, where the tools are located, etc.
- Monitor the tools and systems used to generate and store code to proactively identify and remediate issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends, attacks, breaches, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
- Conduct regular maturity assessments to identify potential areas of improvement.
- Provide regular reports to leadership on the overall health and security of the internal development functions and related efforts.

**What You Bring to the Role**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology ore related field
- Strong knowledge of secure SDLC processes
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, C#, or Ruby.
