**About the Unit**:

At this moment, we have a vacancy in the Cartagena plant, for the position of Environmental Specialist.

**Responsibilities**:
Evaluate and manage compliance with current environmental legislation.

Provide technical and environmental advice to the company.

Implement best environmental practices within the company. Support actions for prevention, mitigation, correction and compensation of environmental impacts generated.

Establish and implement processes and manage resources to control and develop actions aimed at improving environmental management.

Manage and support training and education activities in environmental matters.

Maintain the company's environmental information up to date and generate periodic reports to the environmental authorities.

Ensure compliance with follow-up, monitoring, reports required in emission and discharge permits and environmental authority requirements.

Promote the development of cleaner production practices in the company and projects to minimize waste generation. Identify and promote the valorization and reuse of waste generated in the plant.

Ensure development and updating of mandatory HESQ documentation for management system and continuous improvement.

Ensure analysis and monitoring of enviromental management system indicators.

Perform verification and audits of environmental compliance in the processes and support the correction of findings.
HESQ Management: Know and comply with the Policy, Safety Principles, guidelines and HESQ standards established by the company, based on the Safe by Choice philosophy, as well as the applicable legal requirements and Know and comply with the other requirements defined in the Matrix of HESQ Responsibilities, associated with their position / role.

**Profile**:
University degree, preferably, chemical Engineer, Industrial Engineer.
Postgraduate or master's degree is a plus
Training in ISO 14001 management systems.
ISO 14001 auditor certification.
Advanced English is a must.
Work Experience
4 years of industry experience in environmental control and performance improvement. Experience in production industrial sector.
