The Financial Planning and Business Analytics Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) of Financial Planning, including investments, productivity and headcount management, within the Commercial Cards Operations Function and business, and contributes to directional strategy and performance review of the business.
**Job Background/context**:
Treasury and Trade Services (TTS) offer industry-leading Cash Management & Trade solutions to multi-national corporations, financial institutions and public sectors globally. Commercial Cards is a rapidly growing product in the TTS suite of products and has been identified as one of the top priority products within TTS business. The Commercial Cards business caters for over 700 corporate clients across 11 markets in LATAM. This team supports a card base of 150,000 Commercial cards in a growing market.

The role reports solely to the Regional Commercial Cards Ops Head for LATAM and is a member of the LATAM Operations Group Management Team. Additionally, there is a close working relationship with the Commercial Cards Global Senior Management core group. Commercial Cards Operations is closely aligned to Product, Sales, Account Management, Implementations, Capabilities, and Technologies, and there are many interactions with these groups.

The Operations Group currently has a footprint as follows:

- Regional (cross-border) card issuance - Tampa (Citi, core leadership, process and project roles), Sykes (Costa Rica and Curitiba, BR- client and cardholder service delivery), and Chennai & Mumbai (TCS and Hexaware, third party - Customer Inquiry Fulfillment Back Office and processing center).
- In-market issuance - Central America, DR, Colombia and Peru

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and control budgeting, forecasting and headcount management for LATAM TTS COMMERCIAL CARDS OPERATIONS and timely review with senior managers on the progress.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual MIS for LATAM TTS COMMERCIAL CARDS OPERATIONS reporting and tracking
- Update, manage and report headcount outlook, joiner & leaver dashboard, resource and location updates in Citi systems.
- Prepare of Headcount reports for senior reviews
- Maintain and tracking headcount approvals for Plan and Outlook
- Track and prepare key performance metrics' scorecards for LATAM TTS COMMERCIAL CARDS OPERATIONS. Engage with Countries' FP&A, collate data inputs, analyze and prepare interactive dashboards for senior reviews.
- Work with Regional and Global Finance TTS Ops partners to align on the Outlook reporting, Productivity & Investment reporting
- Coordinate for Business Plan updates in Financial systems, adhoc requests, etc.
- Track and review the productivity initiatives reported by countries
- Work with countries on the allocation methodologies, work with the Finance team to get it updated and create reports for management discussion
- Manage and co-ordinate regular and adhoc requests in terms of liaising with stakeholders, tracking and reporting progress, etc.
- Prepare decks and other scorecards as requested by senior management
- Coordinate with country leads to drive process reviews and various efficiency projects.
- Gather operational data from various cross functional stakeholders to examine past business performance
- Identify data patterns & trends, and provides insights to enhance business decision making capability in business planning, process improvement, solution assessment etc.
- Recommend actions for future developments & strategic business opportunities, as well as enhancements to operational policies
- May be involved in exploratory data analysis, confirmatory data analysis and/or qualitative analysis
- Continuously improve processes and strategies by exploring and evaluating new data sources, tools, and capabilities
- Work closely with internal and external business partners in building, implementing, tracking and improving decision strategies**Qualifications**:

- 6-10 years of relevant experience
- Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
- Experience as an Operations Research Analyst, Analytics Manager, Strategic Business Analyst or related position performing quantitative analytics supporting financial services
Language - English required

**Education**:

- Bachelors/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
- CA / CPA would be an advantage
