Patient Scheduler

**Healthcare Practice in the US seeks great Patient Scheduling** to schedule new and returning patients' appointments, operate the telephone queue, enter consumers into the EHR system, collect all demographic information from the patient, and have exceptional communication with all other team members as needed all while providing great customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Answer incoming calls
- Provide excellent customer service 100% of the time
- Determine the type of service the caller is seeking, health care needs, and the urgency of scheduling.
- Collect the demographic information.
- Verify address, phone number, and the potential need for updating annual registration paperwork, and schedule the paperwork appointment as needed
- Manage patient appointments, confirm appointments, and alert patients if they need to bring any information to appointment (co-pays, past due balances, paperwork for sliding fee scale)
- Other duties as assigned.
- Find a suitable time and date for the appointment, coordinate with both parties to determine availability and ensure a mutually convenient schedule.
- Sending reminders before the scheduled appointments, ensuring that the patients are well-prepared and informed about the process.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience in the HealthCare setting is preferred.**:

- **Experience in verifying patient benefits through the web portal or verifying benefits, in general, is a plus**:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proper grammar and spelling.
- Professional demeanor and respect for other team members, contributing to a diverse and vibrant workplace.

**Salary**: Up to $3.5M COP Monthly

Contract: Indefinite Labor Contract

Location: Colombia

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week.
