- This position is located in the United Nations Verification Mission in Colombia (UNVMC) in Quibdo's regional office in the department of Choco. The Associate Liaison Officer at this level assists the Senior Liaison Officer in work related to the mission's mandate for liaising with the host country's stakeholders and other multilateral organizations on peacekeeping, crisis management, conflict prevention and mediation matters. S/he maintains regular contacts at the working level with various offices of the government, the United Nations Secretariat, UN agencies, NGOs s and diplomatic missions.
