**Practice Area Profile**:
**What You''ll Do**:
As a part of BCG X’s team, you will work closely with consulting teams on a diverse range of businesses, advanced analytics, and web development topics. You will have the opportunity to leverage web development and rapid prototyping methodologies to deliver value to BCG''s Consulting (case) teams and Practice Areas (domain) through software development expertise and accelerated execution support.

**What You''ll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)**:
**Technical Skills**:
Experience in data analysis and statistics tools and methods:

- Strong expertise in Python (will be tested)
- Other analytics tools such as R, Alteryx, SQL and SAS (nice to have)
- Data cleaning, variable transformation, etc.
- Regression analysis, factor analysis, PCA, decision trees, etc.
- Machine learning algorithms such as NLP, random forest, etc.
- Nice to have optimization and predictive work experiences

Experience in core data visualization tasks and tools (one or more of the following):

- Design visually compelling reports
- Build interactive dashboards and data exploration tools
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, R shiny or other visualization tools
- Experience with collaboration tools & ticketing systems (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, GitHub) is preferred
- Experience with big data environments a plus: Amazon Redshift, Hadoop/HIVE, Teradata

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- Undergraduate degree related to data science, statistics, machine learning, mathematics, computer science is required; advanced degree is preferred
- 1- 3 years of Data Analytics experience (applies for Data Analyst role) focused on statistics, optimization & machine learning modeling, visualization or related areas.
- 3-5 years of Data Analytics experience (applies for Senior Data Analyst role) focused on statistics, optimization & machine learning modeling, visualization or related areas.
- Fluent written and spoken English (other languages desirable)
- Problem solving, communication, interpersonal and teaming skills
- Ability to effectively handle difficult and stressful situations with poise, tact and patience
- Ability to anticipate, identify, and solve critical problems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
