**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Work with clients, partners and other areas of IBM as a Subject Matter Expert in the pre-sales, use, and adoption of database software solutions, management, integration, governance and data quality, as well as advanced data analysis and data science and artificial intelligence.
- Define architectures and solutions together with clients, partners and other areas of IBM.
- Run demos and proofs of concept to show and confirm the advantages and capabilities of the data portfolio solutions.
- Resolve queries and problems that might arise because of using the data portfolio solutions.
- Recommend best practices and propose improvements in the use of data portfolio solutions
- Knowledge of IBM technology and brand solutions with deep skills in one or more of IBM's brands, eg, automation, data and artificial intelligence, security, and/or energy.
- Skills in Hybrid Cloud technologies (Containerization, OCP, ROKS, etc.) to integrate an IBM Technology POV with the general technical architectures that support business partners.
- Competencies in design, architecture and development thinking principles to convince partners to adopt IBM technology in solutions, practices and offerings.
- Possess in-depth understanding of sales/build/service ecosystem business moves and models, eg in complex technical sales/consulting, architecture design, and technology solution development.
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Security.
- Intermediate/advanced knowledge in virtualization.
- Intermediate/advanced knowledge of SAP architectures.
- General intermediate/advanced knowledge of Power technologies.
- Intermediate/advanced knowledge of container orchestrators: Kubernetes and Red Hat Open Shift.
- General knowledge of DevOps
- General knowledge of cloud provisioning and automation
- General Knowledge of Databases
- General knowledge of cloud security
- Skills in Hybrid Cloud technologies (Containerization, OCP, ROKS, etc.) to integrate an IBM Technology POV with the general technical architectures that support business partners.
**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Experience or knowledge in competitor's solutions.
- Basic/intermediate knowledge of VMWare.
- Advanced knowledge of containers, microservices, and APIs.
- Possess a thorough understanding of the sales/build/service ecosystem business moves and models, eg, capabilities in complex technical sales/consulting, architecture design, and technology solution development.
