We're looking for a Digital Wellness Assistant for a client who developed a platform dedicated to adolescent mental healthcare. Adolescence, as the quote above states, is a time of great change and growth, and our client aims to provide preventative care using AI to proactively pinpoint challenges and engage in meaningful intervention. The AI reviews online activity and notifies the person's support team. The bulk of this work is done through text messaging and involves following recommended procedures to provide coaching, submitting reports and suggestions to the parents, and following up on cases to review the final outcome. If you're a deeply caring and empathetic person who would like to contribute positively to society - and in particular to youths - then this is the perfect job for you.

**Here's a little more on what your responsibilities will be**:

- Analyze the risks that are flagged by the system by validating if they are mental health challenges, classify and tag the risk, and follow procedure for next steps. This can involve providing the parents with conversation suggestions or referring to a therapist, for example. You will also be sending summaries and recommendations to the parents and adolescents. Lastly, you will be following up on each case to review the results.
- Work alongside other Wellness Assistants and management to help improve the processes and risk analyses
- Coach and mentor adolescents in writing (through texts on the platform) to provide support and assistance in finding resources
- Follow the company's policies to maintain each family's confidentiality

**You will be great for this role if you have**:

- Experience working in any kind of support role, social work, volunteering, or studies involving mental health and wellbeing
- A strong history of meeting deadlines and being highly reliable
- Experience in roles where you had to follow process and make risk assessments
- Highly empathetic profile and an interest in mental health
- Inquisitive and understanding disposition
- Good with autonomous work
- Excellent written English communication
- Comfortable working from 3pm to 11pm PST
