Who we need
This position is 100% remote. The shift available is based on an EST schedule.
What we need you to do
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployments, testing, and release processes within the Microsoft Azure environment.
- Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, issues, and potential improvements to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IAC) practices using tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager to manage and automate cloud resources.
- Develop and enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively identify and address system anomalies or failures.
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations, working to minimize service disruptions and contribute to post-incident reviews to drive continuous improvement.
What we want you to have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role, with a focus on DevOps practices in a Microsoft Azure environment
- Experience with Azure API Management Services or similar API gateways.
- Strong proficiency in Azure services and technologies, including Azure DevOps, Azure Resource Manager, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, etc.
- Solid experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps Pipelines, Github CI/CD, or similar.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation and infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code practices (Terraform, ARM templates).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues in a cloud environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
