CSG's **Xponent Data** group is currently hiring a **Data Analyst** to envision, research, evolve and support leading edge customer-experience based solutions. **Position Summary**:
- Xponent Data team works on delivering data solutions within Xponent - an industry leading product which combines **Journey Orchestration** and **Customer Data Platform** capabilities.
- The Data Analyst is responsible for on-boarding and supporting Xponent across customers. This position requires strong data analysis and BI skills.
- Ability to learn new BI & database technologies quickly, analytical thinking, delivering quality results, excellent communication, and ability to work in an Agile environment are fundamental to this role.
**Responsibilities**:
- Working within the Xponent Data team to analyse and deliver strategic journey analytics to our clients
- Own the analytics best practices function, training clients on how to analyse the data themselves.
- Research, develop and evolve “best practice” for the deployment of statistical learning models for data analysis
- Communicate results and ideas to key internal and external decision makers
- Provide feedback and ideas on improvements to the Xponent feature set and usability
- with the aim of continuously improving the delivery process and results.
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:
- 3+ years’ experience with data analytics and dashboard building.
- Proficient in analytical SQL and BI Tools (Domo, Tableau, etc.). Able to write complex queries for in-depth analysis.
- Proven experience in turning significant amounts of data into informative/insightful actions through various statistical techniques, and in providing and presenting insights to clients
- Knowledge of database/ data warehouse design, ETL development and challenges posed by data quality
- Problem solving mindset - driven by fixing problems and finding solutions
- Experience in analytics on a Customer Experience / Campaign management / Digital platform
- Knowledge of a/b test reporting methods
- Experience with Python/pyspark for ETL is nice-to-have.
- Knowledge of ML / AI methodologies is nice-to-have
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in technology (Computer Science, Applied Math, ML or similar courses)
