**WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER**:
The Orinoquia Iconic Place Project Manager will support the management of TNC Orinoquia initiatives in the most cost-effective and time-saving way for delivering outcomes for People and Nature. S/he will help to implement the required strategies to avoid conversion of at-risk land and freshwater natural ecosystems in the region, while integrating and aligning TNC Colombia business unit alignments. This position will report to the Orinoquia Iconic Landscape Lead.

**WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU**:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Project Manager will develop project plans, budgets, metrics, and schedules with input and buy-in from the Orinoquia Iconic Lead and Colombia business unit stakeholders. They will critically assess project scope and activities, ensuring all risks and dependencies are addressed in the project plan to deliver successful results that support the fulfillment of the objectives. They will help to define roles and responsibilities to successfully achieve identified outcomes and goals in the most cost-effective and time-saving manner possible. The position requires a high degree of independent initiative and judgement while working collaboratively with TNC key stakeholders. Throughout the project lifecycle, the Project Manager will monitor and measure project progress, solve complex problems as necessary, and communicate project status information to all stakeholders. They will perform risk management, issue resolution, and conflict management as required. They will utilize project management methodologies and processes and ensure all organizational and divisional standards are met. They will act as a resource to other staff and project managers to provide project management guidance and expertise regarding Colombia business unit.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE
- Coordinates and guides drafting of Theory of Change (ToC), logical framework, investment criteria, budget and procurement plans, and associated documentation.
- Develops strategies and solve problems for the fulfillment of the objectives and the outcomes of TNC Orinoquia initiatives.
- Leads the review of proposal documents to ensure technical quality and alignment with TNC strategies and policies.
- Coordinates, prepares and/or presents technical studies and reports to key stakeholders and beneficiaries, ensuring accountability.
- Performs financial planning and tracking (budgetary and accounting) supported by Financial and Budgetary Dashboards.
- Coordinates, under the guidance of the Technical Lead, procurement processes, supported by "Operational Support" and CCS.
- Follows up contractors to comply with TNC procedures.
- Leads and supervises the organization of events and payment to suppliers, supported by "Operational Support."
- Assists the Technical Lead in the preparation of regular and closing reports for donors.
- Supports the necessary meetings convened by the Colombia business unit and properly communicate the information of the organization through the necessary spaces.
- Makes strategic use of TNC's capabilities at the national, regional and global levels.
- Coordinates the work of cross-functional, cross-divisional teams towards a desired outcome.
- Fosters a spirit of teamwork and unity among the team that allows for rapid conflict resolution, and appreciation of diversity, as well as effective cohesion, support, and joint work.
- May manage or participate in complex negotiations with stakeholders.
- Demonstrates sensitivity and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Ensure programmatic commitments, conservancy policies and procedures, financial standards, and legal requirements are met and managed for compliance.
- Under mínimal supervision, makes independent decisions based on analysis, experience, and context.

**WHAT YOU'LL BRING**:

- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, agricultural or environmental sciences and at least 5 years relevant professional experience.
- At least 3 years of experience planning, managing, and implementing projects.
- Experience managing scheduling and financial aspects of small to large projects that range from short to long term and delivering budgetary responsibilities.
