We are launching an office in Bogotá to expand our reach and provide unparalleled services to our clients. We are seeking a skilled Tech Lead Full-Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team and drive the success of our cloud-based solutions. As the Tech Lead Full-Stack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the development, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based applications within our Solutions Center in Bogotá. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including our US-based colleagues and directly interact with our clients.

  2. Oversee a small team and manage relationships with clients in a variety of industries
  3. Diagnose complex technical and business problems and implement creative solutions that leverage Pariveda's capabilities to meet our clients' needs
  4. Use your knowledge of design principles and frameworks to perform and manage all aspects of projects throughout the SDLC including estimation, sprint planning, requirements gathering, architecting, developing, testing, issue/risk management, change control and delivery
  5. Focus on master data management
  6. Manage requests to innovate and evolve a suite of applications, which may require re-architecting foundational elements
  7. Deliver presentations and facilitate meetings while adapting communication to varying audiences including high-level stakeholders
  8. Provide basic support, proactive monitoring, routine checks, data validation, and address security recommendations, including on-call requirements once a month
  9. Mentor junior colleagues by providing career development goals, meeting regularly, writing and delivering semi-annual reviews, and advocating for their career advancement
  10. Work within a hybrid model, sometimes at home and sometimes in person
  11. Actively engage in our culture of continuous learning, personal and professional development, and lead community service and social gathering events

We Look For:

The successful candidate possesses the following critical qualifications:

  1. Full-stack development experience, cloud technologies (AWS), serverless applications (Amazon Lambda), and Node.js
  2. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with US-based stakeholders
  3. Fluency in English is required for effective communication with US-based colleagues and customers
  4. Experience in managing and mentoring a team of developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for delivering innovative solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations
  6. Experience across all phases of the SDLC and Agile software development practices
  7. Current project leadership experience of technical teams
  8. Enthusiastic about coaching and mentoring others helping them develop their careers
  9. Ability to become a trusted advisor by building and managing relationships with clients, colleagues, vendors, and other industry professionals
  10. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or comparable experience
