Role Description
The Inventory Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Colombia. This position is responsible for monitoring inventory levels, analyzing stock movements, and maintaining accurate records for coke and coal products across warehouses and logistics channels. Day-to-day tasks include reconciling physical inventory with system data, preparing reports on stock status and variances, and coordinating with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to support purchasing and shipment planning. The Inventory Analyst will also help improve inventory processes, implement control measures to reduce discrepancies, and provide timely, data-driven insights to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Inventory Analysis and Inventory Management to track, interpret, and optimize stock levels.
- Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in Inventory Control to ensure accurate records, minimize losses, and maintain process compliance.
- Candidates should have solid Analytical Skills to work with data, identify trends, and generate clear reports and recommendations.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present inventory findings clearly.
- Relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or commodity trading is beneficial.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet tools and inventory or ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to accuracy are essential.
- A technical, business, or logistics-related degree or equivalent professional experience is advantageous.
