Job Description

This role is part of a global Trade Operations functionthat provides operational support to the Global Supply Chain, with a specific focus on LATAM import/export activities, trade compliance, andcross‑borderexecution. The LATAM Trade Operations professional plays a critical role in ensuring compliant, efficient, andtimelymovement of medical devices across international borders, supporting business continuity, customer service, and regulatory adherence. This role offers exposure to global stakeholders, complex trade environments, andhas ameaningfulimpact on patient access to healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provideend‑to‑endoperational support for LATAM trade activities, including import, export, and intercompany movements, in alignment with global supply chain requirements.
• Execute andmonitorcustoms clearance processes, ensuring compliance with local, regional, and global trade regulations and company policies.
• Partner with Global Trade, Logistics, Planning, Customer Service, and Finance teamsto resolve shipment issues, delays, and compliance risks.
• Maintainaccuratetrade documentation, classification data, and records to support audits, reporting, and regulatory inquiries.
• Support broker and freight forwarder management, including performance monitoring and issue resolution.
• Identifyopportunities to improve trade processes, cycle times, and cost efficiencywhilemaintainingcompliance.
• Contribute to global and regional initiatives related to trade optimization, system enhancements, and process standardization.

Education

Bachelor’s degreerequired, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, ora relatedfield.

Advanced degree or specialization in Trade, Logistics, or Operations preferred.

Experience and Skills

Required

• Minimum 3–5 years of experiencein trade operations, import/export,logistics, or supply chain operations within a regulated environment.
• Working knowledge of LATAM customs regulations, import/export procedures, and trade compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting global or regional supply chain operationswith multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
• Proficiencywith ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and standard Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred

• Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other highly regulated industries.
• Exposure toglobal trade compliance programs, audits, or internal controls.
• Familiarity with free trade agreements, duty mitigation, or special trade programsin LATAM.
• Experience working with customs brokers and freight forwardersacross multiple countries.
• Demonstrated continuous improvement or process optimization experience.
• Strong analytical,problem‑solving, and organizational skills.

Other

• Languages:Fluent in Portuguese; strong workingproficiencyin Englishrequired. Spanish preferred.
• Travel:Up to 10% regional or international travel as needed.
• Certifications:Trade,logistics, or customs certifications preferred but notrequired.
