Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Supports effective financial operations by executing accounting processes, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, consolidating financial data, and providing analysis to support decision-making. Ensures accuracy of financial records, compliance with regulatory requirements, and timely reporting. Contributes to financial planning consistency and operational efficiency to support profitability and business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Management and Financial Control:
  • Executes and monitors accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Supports month-end and year-end closing processes, preparing reconciliations and required documentation.
  • Ensures compliance with internal controls, IFRS, and local GAAP through proper documentation and adherence to procedures.
  • Identifies discrepancies or variances and supports investigation and resolution.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting:
  • Assists in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts by gathering data and performing initial analysis.
  • Prepares standard reports and contributes to monthly business reviews with variance analysis against budget and prior periods.
  • Supports financial planning processes by maintaining data accuracy and consistency in financial systems.
  • Provides operational support to business partners with financial data and insights.
  • Financial Analysis and Business Support:
  • Performs detailed financial analysis on performance trends, costs, and profitability drivers.
  • Supports evaluation of store performance and investment initiatives through data analysis.
  • Prepares reports and dashboards to track key KPIs and highlight performance gaps.
  • Contributes to identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost control.
  • Cash Management:
  • Supports daily and weekly cash monitoring and reporting activities.
  • Assists in cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
  • Performs cash reconciliations and investigates discrepancies in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Ensures adherence to cash handling procedures and internal policies.

  • Local and regional Finance teams
  • FP&A and Controlling teams
  • Commercial and operational stakeholders
  • Internal and external auditors

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail with focus on data accuracy
  • Proficiency in financial systems and Excel / data tools / BI
  • Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting IFRS
  • Intermediate English Level (B1/B2)
