Remote Backend Engineer – Genomics HealthTech Platform

Pearl Talent is helping a Boston-based life sciences venture build a genomic sequencing and consumer health data platform. The Backend Engineer will architect the backend from scratch and collaborate with the frontend lead and leadership to ship a scalable platform.

The role covers API design, data pipelines for genomic inputs, PostgreSQL modeling, and AWS infrastructure. The engagement starts as a contract through Pearl and may convert to full-time as the company grows.
