Our client is looking for an SAP IBP consultant (Colombia) - for a Contract to Hire : Start date: ASAP Schedule: 40 hours / week during the 3 months contract, 37,5 hours when perm Bonus: Yes Benefits: Included Vacation: Yes Location : Medellin Work model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week Language: English (Professional) Client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated IT Analyst with deep expertise in supply chain planning, particularly SAP IBP.

Familiarity with SAP MM, PP, SD, BW and APO CIF is a valuable asset. This role serves as a strategic bridge between Supply Chain Planning team and IT, ensuring systems are finely tuned to support Forecasting, Heuristic Planning, SOP, Deployment and Inventory Optimization. As we undertake exciting modernization initiatives, this position will be pivotal in project delivery, systems evolution, and enterprise transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain IBP DP, SP, SOP and IO modules.
  • Support and maintain CIDS and RTI integration.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Planning, BW and Finance team to translate business needs into effective technical solutions
  • Troubleshoot system issues to ensure performance and data integrity
  • Enhance Analytic Story to support data-driven decision-making
  • Contribute to system upgrades, patches, and user acceptance testing
  • Document system configurations, workflows, and user guides
  • Deliver training and provide ongoing support to corporate and mill planners
  • Integrate IBP platforms with broader enterprise systems
  • Help define the roadmap for Supply Chain Planning system modernization
  • Participate actively in the selection, implementation, and migration phases of new solutions
  • Willingness to learn and take on new supporting responsibility if required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain/Operation Management Or Industrial Engineering.
  • 5-10 years of hands-on experience supporting Supply Chain Planning, with a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience supporting SAP IBP systems.
  • Proven track record in configuring and maintaining IBP DP, SP, SOP and/or IO modules
  • Strong command of CIDS, RTI integration tools
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Skills

  • Solid understanding of Planning Concepts
  • Experience with planning area design, master data types, attributes, key figure calculation, planning operator, time profiles, alerts, scenarios.
  • Experience in Forecast models, Lag-based forecasting, Capacity Planning, Safety Stock Planning, Subcontracting.
  • Sound knowledge of IBP Aggregation/Disaggregation logic.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes for incident and service management
  • Exposure to S/4 HANA or SAP ECC MM/PP/SD/APO and cross-functional integrations is a strong asset.
