WHAT YOU WILL DO
  1. Understand existing processes and help define consistent release standards across application teams.
  2. Troubleshoot deployment and application issues, providing clear communication to relevant stakeholders.
  3. Assess release risk levels and define appropriate disaster recovery and rollback strategies.
  4. Implement and manage security best practices for IAM, networking, and environment configurations.
  5. Manage AWS infrastructure and networking using Sceptre and CloudFormation.
  6. Monitor system and application health using tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Zabbix.
  7. Improve and support CI/CD workflows and deployment automation.
  8. Collaborate with developers to establish scalable, maintainable release processes.
  9. Design patching strategies for virtual machines.
MUST HAVE
  1. 4+ years of experience supporting multi-application release infrastructures.
  2. Strong architecture and deployment experience with AWS services (SES, SNS, SQS, Directory Services, ELB, ASG, ACM, Systems Manager, S3, Glacier, EBS, Lambda, Route53, CloudFront, AWS Backup).
  3. Hands-on experience with AWS networking (Transit Gateways, TG Peering, VPC Peering, Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPN, AWS VPN, Prefix Lists).
  4. Practical experience automating and working with AWS security tooling (Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, Config, Trusted Advisor).
  5. Familiarity with deployment automation, configuration management, monitoring tools, and disaster recovery principles.
  6. Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux shell.
  7. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and workflows (e.g., Jenkins, Argo, Git).
  8. Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  9. Ability to continuously build and test code using scripting or programming languages.
  10. Proficiency in at least one language: Python, Go, Java, or C++.
NICE TO HAVES
  1. Solid understanding of security best practices in public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  2. High-level knowledge of Active Directory and identity management concepts.
  3. Strong understanding of OWASP best practices and secure software development principles.
