Job Overview

Plan A Technologies is looking for a JR Process & Data Programmer with a specialized focus on Casino Loyalty Program Data to develop and execute personalized marketing campaigns and player engagement initiatives. This role merges data processing, variable data programming, and direct mail expertise, leveraging Quadient Inspire Designer, RedPoint, and custom-built tools to deliver highly targeted communications that drive loyalty and revenue for casinos.

You'll play a pivotal role in transforming player data into personalized offers and experiences, such as birthday rewards, VIP event invitations, and slot tournament promotions, ensuring campaigns are aligned with each property's player development strategies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Casino Loyalty Data Processing

1. Retrieve, cleanse, and transform casino loyalty program data, including player profiles, tier statuses, gaming activity, and point balances.
2. Perform ETL processes to integrate data from various file types derived from Casino Systems (Player Tracking, POS, Hotel, F&B, etc.) into structured formats for campaign targeting.
3. Develop segmentation strategies based on player recency, frequency, monetary value (RFM analysis), loyalty tier, and gaming preferences.
4. Maintain data integrity, ensuring accuracy in promotional targeting for campaigns like player reinvestment offers, anniversary communications, and exclusive high-roller invitations.
5. Utilize RedPoint or similar platforms to automate workflows and streamline data prep for multi-channel marketing efforts.

Variable Data Programming & Campaign Execution

1. Program and design highly personalized variable data templates in Quadient Inspire Designer, driving tailored marketing efforts across direct mail and digital channels.
2. Execute complex programming strategies to personalize offers, including slot play incentives, free table game play, hotel stays, and exclusive event invites for VIPs.
3. Collaborate with project management teams to align campaigns with casino calendars, including monthly mailers, promotional events, holiday campaigns, and re-engagement offers for lapsed players.
4. Ensure campaign assets are accurate, compliant, and optimized for on-time delivery.

Preferred Skills:

1. 3+ years working with casino loyalty program data or in a similar player-focused marketing role.
2. 1+ years of work experience with variable data tools in a production environment, preferably using Quadient Inspire Designer (or equivalent VDP software such as XMPie, FusionPro, VIPP).
3. Advanced knowledge of data workflows, data cleansing, and transformation processes.
4. Strong experience with Excel and, preferably, with data management systems (Access, flat files, etc.).
5. Basic knowledge of HTML, .NET, C#, or scripting languages.
6. Good written and verbal communication skills for meetings, calls, and interactions with Senior Managers.

Preferred Education & Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. 3-5 years of experience in casino direct marketing or player development marketing roles.
3. Familiarity with RedPoint, PitStop, BCC Mail Manager, and Adobe Creative Suite.
4. Familiarity with USPS mailing regulations, CASS certification, NCOA, and presort requirements.
5. Experience with Player Tracking Systems (IGT Advantage, Aristocrat Oasis, Konami SYNKROS, etc.) is a plus.
6. Understanding of casino marketing strategies, including tiered offers, rewards programs, and promotional events.
