Junior Security Analyst

As a Jr Security Analyst, you will be responsible for activities that provide hands-on experience in the Information Security field and will interact with members of the Information Security Team and end users throughout the organization to answer inquiries and monitor security-related issues.

What You Will Do
  • Monitor daily alerts related to IDS, IPS, SIEM, DLP, FIM, and endpoint protection.
  • Construct periodic reports on security events on a weekly and quarterly basis.
  • Follow up on asset inventory related to the payment platform.
  • Assist in security incident management procedures in case incidents impact PayU systems.
  • Provide user access management to internal and external systems through the full IAM lifecycle access.
  • Construct user and profile management reports.
What You Need To Succeed
  • Technologist or Bachelor's degree in any of the following fields: Systems, telecommunications, telematic, electronics, information technology, or industrial engineering.
  • At least one year of experience working in the security field as an intern, analyst, or operator.
  • Basic English level in order to read alerts and interpret their meaning.
  • Basic knowledge in IT monitoring tools such as syslog IDS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
  • Assist with monitoring and triage of information security alerts.
  • Knowledge of cyber security incident response.
