About the Role

As a Project Manager at Tambourine, you will independently manage a portfolio of website projects from onboarding through launch. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients while coordinating closely with cross-functional internal teams and third-party partners.

This is a client-facing role that requires strong communication, organization, judgment, and ownership. You should be comfortable leading client meetings, managing multiple projects simultaneously, holding stakeholders accountable to deadlines, identifying risks before they impact delivery, and navigating difficult conversations around timelines, feedback, and scope.

What You'll Own

  • Independently manage multiple concurrent websites and booking engine projects from onboarding through launch.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead recurring client meetings, presentations, and project conversations in both English and Spanish, ensuring clear agendas, decisions, next steps, owners, and deadlines.
  • Build and maintain realistic project timelines while proactively managing milestones, dependencies, resources, approvals, and risks.
  • Hold clients accountable for providing assets, content, feedback, approvals, and other deliverables required to keep projects moving forward.
  • Proactively identify project risks, delays, and dependencies and communicate them before they impact major milestones or launch dates.
  • Manage project scope and confidently communicate when client requests fall outside of the agreed scope, require additional resources, or may impact the project timeline.
  • Translate client feedback and business objectives into clear, actionable direction for Design, Development, Content, Product, Marketing, and other internal teams.
  • Review client assets and project requirements to help develop effective website structures, including sitemaps, user journeys, navigation, and content recommendations.
  • Understand and manage the dependencies between sitemap and content planning, design, development, QA, approvals, and launch.
  • Coordinate internal resources and meetings to ensure teams remain aligned on priorities, deliverables, deadlines, and client expectations.
  • Oversee website QA and content implementation to ensure final deliverables meet project requirements and Tambourine's quality standards.
  • Partner with department specialists when projects include digital marketing deliverables to ensure expectations, dependencies, and timelines are clearly defined.
  • Maintain accurate and timely project documentation, timelines, status updates, next steps, and reporting across internal project management systems.
  • Build strong client relationships while balancing excellent service with Tambourine's processes, scope, timelines, and business requirements.
  • Escalate project concerns appropriately and work collaboratively with leadership to resolve issues when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5 years of professional project management experience, with demonstrated experience managing website projects in an agency or similarly fast‑paced digital environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing website projects through the full lifecycle, including onboarding/discovery, sitemap and content planning, UX/UI design, development, QA, client approval, and launch.
  • Professional fluency in both English and Spanish, with the ability to confidently lead client meetings, presentations, and written communications in English.
  • Experience independently managing multiple client-facing projects at different stages of production simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and the ability to adapt processes based on project requirements, dependencies, and client needs.
  • Proficiency with project management and workflow platforms such as Salesforce, Wrike, Basecamp, Asana, Trello, Monday.com, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
  • Experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, or comparable content management systems.
