Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to lead the deployment and optimization of Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) across the Americas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security, cloud-based secure access solutions, and Zero Trust architectures. This role requires hands-on experience with Zscaler ZPA/ZIA, network infrastructure, and identity integration to ensure seamless and secure remote access for enterprise users.

  • Lead the design, deployment, and administration of Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) across enterprise environments.
  • Integrate ZPA with identity providers (Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity) and enforce role-based access policies.
  • Troubleshoot network and security issues related to ZPA, including connectivity, performance, and authentication problems.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, IT, and cloud teams to align ZPA deployment with security policies and business objectives.
  • Optimize and fine-tune Zscaler policies for performance, security, and compliance.
  • Monitor ZPA traffic and logs, leveraging SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel) for security analysis.
  • Provide technical documentation and training to internal teams on ZPA operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Zero Trust security best practices and industry standards.

The profile :

  • 5+ years of experience in network security, cloud security, or IT infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) and Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA).
  • Expertise in Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and secure remote access architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, and enterprise network security solutions.
  • Experience with IAM solutions (Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity) and authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, MFA).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in network connectivity, latency, and security incidents.
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel) and endpoint security solutions.
  • Experience in scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Terraform) is a plus.
  • Zscaler certifications (ZCCP-PA, ZCCA-PA, etc.) are highly desirable.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish is mandatory
