We believe in striking a balancebetween professionalism and being human. As a Full StackDevelopment Team Lead, you will be part of our Development team andreport directly to the Head of Development. Your responsibilitieswill include managing, mentoring, and guiding a small group ofdevelopers while also taking on hands-on architectural duties. Youwill be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining thearchitecture for solutions built on the HubSpot platform, whichencompasses websites, custom UI extensions, intricate workflows,and API integrations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams -including developers, marketing consultants, designers, and projectmanagers - will be essential to delivering scalable and innovativesolutions. Your expertise will shape the technical strategy, upholdbest practices for HubSpot development, and ensure that businessneeds align with technical implementation. Experience with HubSpotis preferred, but it is not a requirement. Here are a few of thetasks you'll get to work on: 1) Software Architecture - Architectand design scalable, modular, and maintainable full-stackarchitectures for HubSpot solutions. - Collaborate withcross-functional teams to translate requirements into technicalspecifications. - Lead development of frontend components andbackend integrations using modern technologies. - Provide technicalguidance and mentorship to developers, promoting continuousimprovement. - Conduct code reviews ensuring quality andperformance optimization. - Stay updated on the latest technologiesand recommend new tools and practices. - Drive innovation andenhance user experience through collaboration. - Identify andmitigate technical risks, proposing alternative solutions asneeded. - Define and implement testing strategies with QA engineersfor reliable components. - Participate in architectural discussionsto improve system design and maintainability. - Assist pre-sales inscoping solutions and assessing project feasibility. - Maintainstrong proficiency in HubSpot, extending capabilities throughcustom software and integrations. 2) Team Management - Lead andmentor a development team, supporting their technical growth andcareer development. - Collaborate with team members to providefeedback and address concerns. - Distribute work based on teammembers' skills and goals. - Create detailed technical briefs andimplementation plans. - Serve as the main technical liaison betweenthe development team and stakeholders. - Coordinate with Projectand Resource Management teams to optimize workload and projectdeadlines. - Encourage a positive team culture focused on learningand innovation. To excel in this role, you should have thefollowing: - Relevant qualification in computer science or softwareengineering. - Mid to Senior years work experience in full-stackdevelopment experience (frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript,React/Angular; backend: Node.js, Python, PHP). - 2+ years in teamleadership roles, managing and mentoring technical teams. - Strongteam management and delegation abilities. - Experience in creatingtechnical briefs and project implementation plans. - Proven successin leading technical projects. - Ability to balance technical workwith team management. - Expertise in designing end-to-end systemsand understanding architectural patterns like microservices. -Extensive knowledge of development tools, CI/CD pipelines, and APIdevelopment (RESTful, GraphQL). - Solid grasp of performanceoptimization techniques for both frontend and backend. - Experiencein developing responsive, mobile-first applications with backendintegration. - Strong problem-solving skills for complex technicalchallenges. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills withstakeholders. - Ability to implement functional and non-functionalrequirements for scalable applications. - Up-to-date with newtechnologies and best practices in development. - In-depthknowledge of HubSpot's products and APIs, focusing on customextensions and integrations.
