With a global presence of 6,000+ professionals in strategy, research, data science, design, and engineering, we unlock top-line growth, improve customer experience, and drive operational efficiency.Position Overview:We are looking for a Senior DevOps Developer specializing in Cloud App Migration, based in Colombia, eager to work with a huge northamerican client in the food industry.Key Responsibilities:- Migration Expertise: Lead the migration effort from on-premises to Azure, understanding the intricacies of both environments, identifying potential challenges, and designing a robust migration strategy.- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the configuration, deployment, and management of the AKS environment, ensuring its scalability, availability, and performance meet or exceed the current on-premises setup.- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and operations, to ensure a smooth transition and to address any technical issues that arise during the migration process.- Automation: Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IAC), and other automation processes to streamline the migration and ongoing management of the AKS environment.- Security and Compliance: Maintain a strong focus on security best practices, ensuring that the AKS environment is properly configured and that all necessary compliance standards are met.- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Set up monitoring tools, alerts, and proactive troubleshooting mechanisms to quickly identify and address any performance or reliability issues within the AKS environment.- Documentation: Document the migration process, configuration, and best practices for the AKS environment, providing valuable resources for the team and future reference.Qualifications:- Experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong track record of successfully migrating complex infrastructure projects.- Expertise AKS environments, including containerization, orchestration, Kubernetes, and cloud services (particularly Azure).- Advanced English: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills are essential, as this role requires collaboration with global teams and documentation of the migration process.- Automation Tools: Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD), infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).- Security: Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments, including network configuration, access controls, and encryption.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical challenges.Team Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor junior members of the team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.#MidSenior#LI-SC1CI&T is an equal-opportunity employer.
