We are currently looking for a Senior Data Analyst - Web Analytics Developer with Tagging experience to join our team in Bogota, Colombia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, implement, and maintain server-side tracking solutions using GTM Client-Side and Server-Side, and cloud platforms to ensure resilient and compliant data collection.
  • Oversee the collection, validation, and integration of web traffic and conversion data across multiple channels using server-side and client-side methods.
  • Support engineering teams on cloud-based endpoints for tracking pipelines using Google Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, or similar tools.
  • Mitigate data loss caused by browser restrictions (e.g., ITP, ETP) by transitioning key tracking components to server-side infrastructure.
  • Ensure seamless integration of Google Analytics (GA4) data into cloud-based data environments for advanced analysis and reporting.
  • cAPI and Third-Party Pixel Management: Implement and maintain server-side Conversion APIs (cAPIs) and 3rd-party pixels (e.g., Meta, LinkedIn) to enable accurate data collection and campaign attribution.
  • Ensure compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) while troubleshooting and optimizing data flows for reliability and performance.
  • Address discrepancies between tracking methodologies, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Conduct advanced analysis of web traffic, user behavior, and conversion funnels using tools like Google Analytics (GA4) and BigQuery.
  • Provide actionable insights to support business objectives and optimization strategies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize user engagement, conversion rates, and overall digital experience based on server-side and cloud-driven insights.
  • Lead the development, documentation, and standardization of tracking processes, ensuring scalability and compliance with data governance standards.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level team members, fostering expertise in server-side tracking, GA4, and cloud-based analytics solutions.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance data privacy, governance, and security in cloud-based tracking systems.
  • Drive cross-functional projects, ensuring data-driven decision-making and alignment of analytics activities with strategic business goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, econometrics, statistics, computer science, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
  • Ability to align data collection strategies with business goals, focusing on long-term growth and optimization.
  • Exceptional ability to translate technical data insights into actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Commitment to staying ahead of industry trends in analytics, server-side tracking, cloud technologies, and data governance.
  • Extensive proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM), including advanced implementation and customization.
  • Expert-level knowledge of server-side tracking, including Google Tag Manager Server-Side (sGTM) and its integration with cloud platforms like Google Cloud (GCP), AWS, or Azure.
  • Advanced skills in JavaScript (a must), and Python (a plus) implementing and analyzing data pipelines and strong command of SQL and experience in managing large-scale data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery).
  • In-depth experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud (BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage).
  • Proficiency in addressing browser tracking restrictions (e.g., ITP, ETP) using server-side methodologies to ensure data integrity.
  • Comprehensive understanding of data compliance regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and global privacy standards, with an emphasis on cloud-based tracking.
  • Proven ability to perform advanced and complex data analysis, identifying actionable trends and driving strategic insights.
  • Demonstrated experience in the full lifecycle of tracking: design, implementation, validation, documentation and maintenance .
