Job Description Weare seeking a highly skilled and motivated Legal Counsel with 3–4years of post-graduate experience to join our dynamic global legalteam. The ideal candidate will hold a postgraduate degree inCommercial Law and demonstrate a strong command of corporate legalmatters, contracts, and negotiation skills. C1 or greater Englishproficiency is mandatory, as the role involves frequent interactionwith international teams and stakeholders. This position is hybridin-person/remote, with the in-person portion to be located in theBogota, Colombia offices at least 2-3 times per week.Responsibilities - Drafting/Negotiation/Reviewing high volume ofcommercial contracts including Master Service Agreements,Statements of Work, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Supplier Contracts,Licensing Agreements, Data Privacy and Security Agreements. -Liaising with internal business clients and stakeholders as well asexternal clients and stakeholders to ensure timely review,negotiation, and adherence with internal policies and practices. -Coordinate the drafting, review, and proper execution of allcontracts with business units, service lines, IT, HR, Legal andFinance, as applicable. - Formulate contract/commercial riskassessments and deliver contract briefings. - Collaborate withproject teams to fully understand the products and/or servicesbeing provided and develop contract document templates. - Establishpositive and productive relationships with contract requestor(s),project teams, and senior leadership involved in contract process.- Research legal issues and engage in fact gathering and checkingto provide support to senior legal team on all assigned legalmatters. - Effective use of contract management tools / systems /automation. Qualifications Required Qualifications: - Education:Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution anda postgraduate degree in Commercial Law. - Experience: 3–4 years ofpost-graduate experience at a recognized top law firm. - LanguageProficiency: C1 or greater English proficiency (written andspoken). - Technical Skills: Proficiency in legal research toolsand Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with contract managementsoftware is a plus. - Legal Registration: Membership in theColombian Bar Association (Consejo Superior de la Judicatura). -Demonstrable experience of high-level contract drafting,negotiation, finalization and effective use of contract managementpolicies and tools. - Solid working knowledge of legal issuesrelated to global commercial transactions, including IP protection,data privacy and security and commercial disputes. - Stronginterpersonal skills and experience interacting professionally withall levels of management, multiple geographies, internal subjectmatter experts, legal staff, vendors, and clients. - Pragmatic andcommercial approach to problem solving and the ability to assesscommercial risks; skilled at balancing legal risk with businessobjectives to get deals done. - Strong attention to detail andaccuracy. - Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural,cross-functional environment. - Proactive approach to managingmultiple tasks and meeting deadlines. - Ability to pick things upquickly including a willingness to broaden experience andknowledge. - Self-motivated and able to accomplish assigned taskswith minimal supervision. - Demonstrate a positive attitude, theability to work with others. - Strong ethics, integrity, and valuesincluding ability to maintain confidentiality with respect toagreement contents and other highly sensitive business matters andprojects required. - Excellent time management skills and abilityto work under pressure with strict deadlines effectively in afast-changing business environment. - Ability to work well in ateam environment, but also comfortable with taking ownership ofprojects and driving them to conclusion. - Possess the ability toadapt to changes, delays, or unexpected shifts in priorities whilemaintaining focus and productivity in a high-volume environmentrequired. - Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft OfficeSuite (and with contract management applications).
