CAC Accountant

The Role

• Supporting country accounting and finance needs
• Facilitate office internal and external financial audits.
• Continuous Process Improvement
• Work closely with Treasury team to manage and track Intercompany settlements.
• Work closely with Tax team on tax calculations and disclosures.
• Prepare office period end reconciliations.
• Supporting country financial reporting activities to ensure that financial statements are accurate, produced timely and are in accordance with accounting standards (IFRS and USGAAP)
• Accountable for CAC office accounting reporting processes and systems.
• Closing the books in the most effective manner
• Working with the Finance Operation Network to deliver day to day financial controllership operations.

The Requirements

• Accounting degree
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Finance processes and accounting fundamentals including applicable standards and framework (USGAAP and IFRS)
• High level of English speaking, writing and reading is required.
• Effective and inclusively working experience within and across shared services.
• At least 10 years of experience in Financial Accounting / Reporting, and/or Financial Controlling areas, also good experience in a global operating environment from multinational / multilatina entities
• Proven interpersonal skills, to include communication and negotiation.
• Self-motivated and ability to work on own and to tight timescales.
• Strong problem-solving and decision making skills.
• Experience working with different countries and cultures is an advantage.

Experience in Oracle R12 is desirable
