Senior
Java Developer with the capacity to find and implement high enterprise solutions, with a strong background in software development including the design, programming, and documentation of large-scale software systems.

You will thrive at Zemoga if you have:

  • Built well designed, well-engineered, stable, scalable products across a variety of markets
  • Proficiency in Java development.
  • Java Collections Framework such as List/Map/Tree/Queue/ usage and basic understanding of underlying implementation.
  • Experience with_ API's And/or BFF (Backend for Frontend)_
  • Experience with Spring Framework or equivalent (e.g. Google Guice)
  • Knowledge of objectoriented design, domain modeling, and building highly scalable and available systems.
  • Troubleshooting/Debugging skills
  • Common network and systems integration concepts/technologies such as: REST Paradigm, SOAP/Web-Services, HTTP
  • Basic threading concepts (e.g. race condition, deadlock)
  • Architectural knowledge in the following areas: N-Tiered architectural systems with presentation, service, and data layers.
  • Scaling concepts and techniques (Caching, Load balancing, Sharding,Read/Write tradeoffs)
  • Good English skills (
    B2 or higher preferably you'll be working with our international clients)

Bonus points if you have experience with:

  • Java knowledge/skills: Up to date Java technologies such as Java 8, 9, features, Java Memory Model, JVM tuning techniques
  • Common datastructure and algorithms such as: Array rotation, Tree traversals, Merging arrays/lists, Cache implementation, Troubleshooting tools/skills, Usage of Splunk to analyze errors/events
  • Database technologies: Relational Database Technology, Structured Query Language usage Data manipulation language (DML), Database schema management, Data definition language (DDL)
  • Exposure to query plan and query optimization
  • Azure
