Charger Logistics is a world class asset-based carrier. We specialize in delivering your assets, on time and on budget.

With the diverse fleet of equipment, we can handle a range of freight, including dedicated loads, specialized hauls, temperature-controlled goods and HAZMAT cargo.


This will be a remote position, working from home

Responsibilities

:

  • Design and implement scalable, highly available, and secure cloud and onpremise infrastructure solutions.
  • Develop and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable quick and reliable deployment of software across all environments.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform to manage infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes in a repeatable and predictable manner.
  • Manage and optimize cloud services and resources, including compute, storage, and networking components, to ensure costeffectiveness and performance optimization.
  • Work closely with IT teams to integrate cloud and onpremise environments, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow.
  • Use tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, and Datadog to monitor system health and performance.
  • Enforce security best practices for both cloud and onpremise environments, including network configurations, access controls, and data encryption.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and IT teams to ensure DevOps practices align with organizational goals.
Requirements

More than 8 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer

:

Certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) and Kubernetes (e.g., CKAD, CKA, CKS).

:

  • Handson experience with security tools and vulnerability scanning in DevOps pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Azure security services and features.
  • Experience with
    Azure DevOps, Azure services, and onpremises infrastructure management
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes orchestration and containerization
  • Proven experience in DevSecOps or a similar role
  • Work closely with development and operations teams to embed security practices into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Set up and monitor security alerts and events to identify and respond to potential security incidents.
  • Develop and maintain automated security testing and deployment scripts.
  • Utilize tools like Terraform to automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet,python,bash powershell).
  • Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Terraform, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
